What is mounting permanent facilities?

This service involves installing permanent nesting and dwelling boxes for bats, swifts and house sparrows in the facade of a building. These are specially designed boxes that are integrated into the masonry during renovation or preservation work. Depending on the species and function, different types of boxes are used, such as maternity, summer, mating and winter quarters for bats, and nesting boxes for swifts and house sparrows.

Perfect finishing

Before the cabinet is installed, the facade is grouted to create an opening in which the particular type of cabinet can be placed. After the cabinet is installed, the joints around the cabinet are neatly finished so that it is seamlessly integrated into the facade.

The exact location of the hive is predetermined in the Ecological Work Protocol (EWP) and checked by a project manager during execution. All work performed is then recorded in our digital logbook.

Preparation Ecologist

The ecologist indicates which built-in facilities should be realized where. We like to think along with the positioning of the facilities. We then provide a quotation. Upon approval, the positions are entered into our implementation application. We make a proposal with a date for installation. In the meantime, the client can inform the residents of the work. We can provide input in preparing the residents’ letters. We have also set up a page on our website for resident communication.
