Your housing provider will be carrying out sustainability upgrade works to your home over the coming period. These works may affect protected species such as house sparrows, swifts and bats that use your property or neighbouring properties as nesting or roosting sites. To minimise disturbance to these species during the retrofit works, one or more protective measures may need to be implemented.
These measures may include the installation of temporary wooden nest boxes and bat boxes, making your property inaccessible to protected species (also referred to as wildlife exclusion), or the installation of integrated concrete nest boxes or bat boxes.
