The Brabantpark in is a spacious residential area with senior housing in Dongen. Due to the low quality of the original buildings, housing corporation Casade decided to demolish the homes and replace them with new homes. The 47 new homes will be built by Heijmans. Unitura drew up the cabinet plan for the new homes to be built and supplied the facilities.
The houses within Brabantpark are low, making them less suitable as habitats for swifts. Therefore, no swift facilities have been applied here. The house sparrow provisions are in the form of integrated HMP3 cabinets included in the storerooms. In addition, bat boxes VMPM2 are included in the facades of each house. On the higher end walls, maternity boxes VMPMK1 have been applied.
Unitura prepared an enclosure plan for the new construction houses based on the principles of Casade’s SMP. The caste plan was included as part of the overall ecological work protocol prepared by Arcadis.
